Trips to Asia:

February 24 - March 9, 2012: Immersion Trip to Cambodia.

Cambodia is best known for the Angkorian temple complex, and for the genocidal regime of the KhmerRouge. Sharing a border with Thailand, Vietnam and Laos, Cambodia conjures up images of an ancient glorious past and a rich cultural heritage. Maryknoll Lay Missioners, as well as members of the broader Maryknoll Community in Cambodia will be our hosts on this exciting trip. They will help us to discover the natural beauty, inspiring temples and renowned hospitality of Cambodia. Since 1989, the Maryknoll community has worked with Cambodians in ministries related to health care, social services and education.

Trips to Africa:

March 16 - 31, 2012: Immersion Trip to Tanzania

They say that those who enter into mission fall into the dance of the living God. Indeed the rhythms of Africa are of dances. MKLM missioners in Tanzania will introduce us to this dance of life in the beautiful and diverse diverse Musoma and Mwanza.

Tanzania is most known for the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar for their beauty, picturesque scenery, and abundance of wildlife. We'll experience some of that, but our missioners experience Tanzania along with its people with whom we will walk in our experience there.
